First, you book your periodical vehicle inspection online. To do this, select your desired date in the calendar. You will then receive a confirmation email from us.
As a partner of KÜS, we carry out the safety and emissions inspection (HU/AU), just like what you are used to from other testing organizations. If you pass the inspection, your car will receive the new inspection sticker.
Immediately after the inspection, we will explain all acute deficiencies to you and point out upcoming problems. We would also be happy to explain the inspection report to you.
HU is an examination in which your motor vehicle is checked for roadworthiness. It is defined as “disassembly-free visual, functional and performance testing of certain components”, in which the vehicle is assessed for compliance with the Road Traffic Approval Code (StVZO).
For your HU, in addition to your vehicle, we need your vehicle registration document (registration certificate part I), any attachment certificates and the general operating permit.

After a successful general inspection, you will receive your test sticker on the rear license plate.
That depends entirely on your vehicle. At Holdeineplakette.de, you pay 158€ for your HU sticker including emissions test for your car, 89€ for your motorcycle and 43€ for your trailer.
No - on HolDeinePlakette.de you can only book an appointment for HolDeinePlakette's vehicle inspection centers. HolDeinePlakette is a KÜS partner and therefore independent of TÜV Süd in your area. Both organizations have an equivalent license and carry out the safety inspection for cars according to the same standards.
Since this is a state-regulated service, the costs at TÜV Süd, DEKRA and KÜS in Regensburg are very similar.
