First, you book your periodical vehicle inspection online. To do this, select your desired date in the calendar. You will then receive a confirmation email from us.
As a partner of KÜS, we carry out the safety and emissions inspection (HU/AU), just like what you are used to from other testing organizations. If you pass the inspection, your car will receive the new inspection sticker.
Immediately after the inspection, we will explain all acute deficiencies to you and point out upcoming problems. We would also be happy to explain the inspection report to you.

HU is an examination in which your motor vehicle is checked for roadworthiness. It is defined as “disassembly-free visual, functional and performance testing of certain components”, in which the vehicle is assessed for compliance with the Road Traffic Approval Code (StVZO).
The exhaust gas test (AU) is a legally required inspection of the exhaust system of your vehicle. It checks whether the exhaust gas values of your motor vehicle are within the prescribed limits. Since 2010, it has been part of the main inspection (HU), which is carried out in our testing center to ensure road safety. After successful verification, you will receive all necessary information and, if necessary, an expert opinion. For your next HU/AU appointments, you can contact us directly to ensure that your vehicle continues to meet legal requirements.
For the majority of general inspections on vehicles, an interval of two years after the last general inspection or initial registration is required. These vehicles include cars, motorcycles, trailers and other road-legal vehicles. As the owner of these vehicles, you are responsible for the timely presentation to HU.
For your HU, in addition to your vehicle, we need your vehicle registration document (registration certificate part I), any attachment certificates and the general operating permit.

If an inspector finds significant or dangerous defects in your vehicle, you must present it for inspection within one month. You should remove the deficiencies immediately. If you let this deadline pass, you must have a completely new main inspection carried out, which is associated with renewed costs.
