Sell a car inspection center

Business succession made easy

You have set up your vehicle inspection center(s) with passion - we make sure that it goes into good hands.
Transparent process

Your path to successful succession Your vehicle inspection center(s)

01
Initial consultation

At the beginning, we have a non-binding discussion — in person or via video — in which we would like to introduce ourselves and find out more about your testing center (s). The aim is to create an initial mutual understanding and to reconcile expectations.

02
NDA

Following the initial consultation, we sign a confidentiality agreement (NDA). In this way, we ensure that no information reaches employees, customers or third parties — absolute discretion is a matter of course for us.

03
Company overview

After signing the confidentiality agreement, we ask you for initial documents. This gives us a structured overview of your testing center — e.g. location, test volume, technology, partner contracts and key economic data.

04
Range

As soon as all relevant information is available, we will prepare a specific offer within 1-2 weeks. It includes asking price, delivery mode, timetable and further framework conditions for the possible takeover.

05
Sales contract

After a fundamental agreement on the offer, we draw up a legally secure purchase contract. At the same time, we clarify final details and — if necessary — carry out an in-depth review of the documents.

06
Handover

The transfer of business takes place either promptly or over an individually agreed period of time. With payment of the purchase price, we take over the operation and ensure a smooth transition — gladly with your support as well.

Staff

Your employees retain their place. We take over existing employment contracts and ensure continuity — with individual development opportunities upon request.

Continued operation

After handover, we ensure that your testing center is continued professionally. If you wish, you can also continue to support the company during the initial period.

FAQ

Do you have any questions?
We have the answers

Can you even sell a car company or an inspection center?

Yes, selling or handing over is generally possible. Although many testing centers are linked to organizations such as TÜV or DEKRA, they are independently managed as entrepreneurs — and can therefore be sold or handed over.

Can I also sell my testing center as a sole trader?

Yes Individual entrepreneurs can also successfully hand over their audit center — we help to find the appropriate legal and economic framework.

Can every inspection body be sold?

Not every one, but many. It depends on economic indicators, location, equipment and existing collaborations. Together, we check whether and how a sale can be made sense.

What role does digitization play in selling my testing center?

A digitally well-established testing center scores points with potential successors. But analog processes are also not an exclusion criterion — after the takeover, we offer complete digitization with our in-house software solution.

How is the value of my test center determined?

We analyse sales, audit volumes, workload, personnel structure, equipment and existing contracts (e.g. with monitoring organizations). On this basis, we create a comprehensible, transparent offer.

What happens to private expenditure used for business purposes?

Private costs (e.g. company car or home office) are considered separately and adjusted during the evaluation. The aim is a fair economic evaluation of your real operating result.

What happens to my employees?

Your employees are an important part of success. Our goal is to take over and train the existing team — in particular test engineers and test assistants.

How does the sale of an inspection center work?

1. Non-binding enquiry & initial consultation

2. Evaluation of your testing body
