As a partner of KÜS, we carry out the safety and emissions inspection (HU/AU), just like what you are used to from other testing organizations. If you pass the inspection, your car will receive the new inspection sticker.
Immediately after the inspection, we will explain all acute deficiencies to you and point out upcoming problems. We would also be happy to explain the inspection report to you.
HU is an examination in which your motor vehicle is checked for roadworthiness. It is defined as “disassembly-free visual, functional and performance testing of certain components”, in which the vehicle is assessed for compliance with the Road Traffic Approval Code (StVZO).

“TÜV” is the technical monitoring association - it includes sub-organizations such as TÜV Süd, TÜV Nord or TÜV Rheinland. They may carry out the main inspection of your car. However, there are also other approved testing organizations in Nuremberg, such as KÜS, GTÜ, DEKRA and others. They test according to the same standards as the TÜV sub-organizations.
