First, you book your periodical vehicle inspection online. To do this, select your desired date in the calendar. You will then receive a confirmation email from us.
As a partner of KÜS, we carry out the safety and emissions inspection (HU/AU), just like what you are used to from other testing organizations. If you pass the inspection, your car will receive the new inspection sticker.
Immediately after the inspection, we will explain all acute deficiencies to you and point out upcoming problems. We would also be happy to explain the inspection report to you.
The “TÜV” is the technical monitoring association — it includes several sub-organizations, such as TÜV Rheinland, TÜV Süd and TÜV Hessen, which are authorized to carry out the HU in Germany. In addition to the TÜV organizations, there are other testing organizations in Germany that have an equivalent license to carry out the main inspection on the car. This also includes KÜS.
HU is an examination in which your motor vehicle is checked for roadworthiness. It is defined as “disassembly-free visual, functional and performance testing of certain components”, in which the vehicle is assessed for compliance with the Road Traffic Approval Code (StVZO).
The general inspection (HU) and the exhaust gas test represent an appointment that most people are reluctant to attend. The test is usually time-consuming and often involves long waiting times. The testing center of HolDeinePlakette in Fürth and TÜV Süd in Kapellenstraße are two different engineering firms, with HolDeinePlakette partner KÜS. Both inspection bodies carry out legally equivalent safety inspections. In addition to the TÜV Süd and HolDeinePlakette in Fürth, there are also GTÜ, DEKRA, TÜV Nord, TÜV Rheinland and other organizations that can carry out the main inspection (HU/AU) in or near Fürth.
