Conversions to your vehicle are entered in your vehicle documents by the responsible registration authority. You must prove this with a corresponding certificate from an approved engineering hub.
Which technical changes require testing?

What documents do you need for registration in the vehicle registration document?
The documents required for vehicle registrations vary depending on the registration office. As a rule, however, you will need the following:

When do you have to exchange your vehicle documents?
If you are still in possession of a vehicle registration document and vehicle registration certificate that were issued before 01.10.2005, you must have these exchanged for new vehicle documents, i.e. registration certificate part I and part II. You bear the costs for the exchange yourself.
How much does a vehicle registration cost?
The fees for vehicle registrations are based on the current version of the scale of fees for road traffic measures. The basic fee is 11.10 euros.
However, additional fees may be incurred, e.g. if it is necessary to exchange for new vehicle documents or to obtain a fine dust sticker.
